On January 23, militia alma mater hosted table tennis competitions among officers. The championship was held in a personal classification in a circular system - from five parties to three victories.
The main judge of the tournament was told about the composition of the participants - the senior lecturer of the department of professionally and applied physical training Alexander Bulkin:
- Representatives of all faculties of the university took part in the competitions. Mostly these are officers who are part of the national team of the Academy and constantly appear at the Cup of the Minister of Internal Affairs.
Prize-winning places were traditionally occupied by representatives of the teaching staff and combat units. So, gold was won by the associate professor of the department of constitutional and international law Candidate of Juridical Science, Associate Professor, Lieutenant Colonel of Militia Sergey Lugovskiy. Silver from the head of the course of the investigative-expert faculty, Lieutenant Colonel Danila Varevodsky. The bronze medalist was Major of Militia Aleksei Ermolenko, assistant to the head of the faculty of corrections for youth work.
